Common subjects
The common subjects are the backbone of the school environment — here all students meet across lines to learn, share and contribute together. We don't have common subject in weeks of course weeks, course days or major events.
Our common subjects include:

Activity day
We break routines with theme weeks and joint days. Here we build community, get a boost of energy and create good memories and experiences across lines and boarding schools.

Vi setter av tid til film og refleksjon, der temaene inspirerer og skaper rom for samtale og ettertanke.
Strandturer
Med hav og sandstrand rett utenfor døra er strandturene en naturlig del av skoleåret. Her kombineres aktivitet, natur og fellesskap i fri luft.

«Vi bryr oss»-dager
Dager med fokus på samfunnsansvar, miljø og medmenneskelighet. Her lærer vi hvordan små handlinger kan bidra til noe større.
Juleverksted
En tradisjon som bringer varme og kreativitet inn i vinteren. Vi lager pynt, baker og skaper julestemning sammen.
Revyuke
Et høydepunkt fylt med latter og kreativitet. Her får du vise frem talentene dine, samarbeide med andre og skape noe helt eget.
Skidag
En dag med aktivitet, mestring og glede i frisk luft. Vi reiser ut sammen og får en pause fra hverdagen – på ekte folkehøgskolevis.
Student evening
All courses host one student evening during the year. Student evenings are pleasant and festive evenings for the rest of the school. The content varies, but can be anything from stage show, music and humour to plays, quizes or tournaments.
These are evenings where students get to show off creativity and create a good atmosphere together with fellow students and friends.
Theme Days
The theme days have varied content and mirror both news and important values. We address everything from sustainability and mental health to culture and creativity — often with exciting guest lectures that engage the whole school. These days provide room for reflection and new perspectives, while at the same time linking us closer together.
The goal is to inspire both personal development and greater understanding for the world around us.
