Common subjects
The common subjects are the backbone of the school environment — here all students meet across lines to learn, share and contribute together. We don't have common subject in weeks of course weeks, course days or major events.
Our common subjects include:

Activity day
We break routines with theme weeks and joint days. Here we build community, get a boost of energy and create good memories and experiences across lines and boarding schools.

We set aside time for film and reflection, where the themes inspire and create space for conversation and reflection.
Beach trips
With the sea and sandy beach right outside the door, beach trips are a natural part of the school year. Here it is combined activity, nature and community in the open air.

New Year's Ball
One of the highlights of the year! We decorate ourselves, celebrating the community and marks that we are in the midst of an unforgettable school year.
“We care”-days
Days highlighting social responsibility, environment and humanity. Here we learn how small actions can contribute to something bigger.
Christmas workshop
A tradition that brings warmth and creativity into winter. We make decorations, bake and create Christmas mood together.
Revu week
A highlight filled with laughter and creativity. Here you get to showcase your talents, collaborate with others and create something all your own.
Ski day
A day of activity, mastery and joy in the fresh air. We travel out together and get a break from everyday life — in real folk high school fashion.
Student evening
All courses host one student evening during the year. Student evenings are pleasant and festive evenings for the rest of the school. The content varies, but can be anything from stage show, music and humour to plays, quizes or tournaments.
These are evenings where students get to show off creativity and create a good atmosphere together with fellow students and friends.
Theme Days
The theme days have varied content and mirror both news and important values. We address everything from sustainability and mental health to culture and creativity — often with exciting guest lectures that engage the whole school. These days provide room for reflection and new perspectives, while at the same time linking us closer together.
The goal is to inspire both personal development and greater understanding for the world around us.
