How to apply
Here you will find everything you need to know — step by step. We'll show you how the application process works, what happens after you apply, and what deadlines apply.
You also get information about age limit, admission, registration fee and right of withdrawal - so you can feel safe all the way to the start of school.

Submit application
Fill out the online application form. You can apply already from October 1st the year before the start of school. The earlier you apply, the better chance you have to get the desired course combination.

Enrollments
Enrollments decisions made on November 15th, you will be sent offer letter with the necessary information. Applications after November 15th and until the start of school are processed on an ongoing basis.

You have been accepted
Once the registration fee has been paid, you are officially a student at Karmøy Folk High School. Now all that remains is to look forward to startup and a year full of experiences!

Reply to the application
When applying before November 15th do you get a confirmation that the application has been received. Those who apply first stand first in line when school places are allocated from November 15th.

Confirm enrollment
Pay the enrollment money within the given deadline to confirm the space. It ensures that we hold on space and course selection for you.

Fyll ut søknadsskjemaet på nett. Du kan søke allerede fra 01.oktober året før skolestart. Jo tidligere du søker, desto større sjanse har du for å få ønsket linjekombinasjon.

Svar på søknaden
Ved søknad før 15. november får du en bekreftelse på at søknaden er mottatt. De som søker først står først i køen når skoleplasser tildeles fra 15.november.

Skoleplass tildeles
Skoleplasser tildeles fra 15. november, du får tilsendt tilbudsbrev med nødvendig informasjon. Søknader etter 15.november og frem til skolestart behandles fortløpende.

Bekreft skoleplass
Betal innmeldingspengene innen gitt frist for å bekrefte plassen. Det sikrer at vi holder av plass og linjevalg for deg.

Skoleplassen er din
Når innmeldingspengene er betalt, er du offisielt elev ved Karmøy Folkehøgskule. Nå gjenstår bare å glede seg til oppstart og et år fullt av opplevelser!
Search early
We recommend to apply as early as possible. Then you have greatest chance to get exactly the two courses you want.
- The school has 18-year age limit — you must be 18 years old in the fall to be able to start.
- We emphasize good balance between girls and boys We welcome students from all over the country.
- You do not need to have completed high school, and no courses require special prior knowledge.
- If you need customizations or have any questions, please contact us — we will find solutions together.
Revocation rights and deadline
When you are admitted as a student at Karmøy Folk High School, the deadline for revocation applies in accordance with angrefristloven kapittel 3.
If you wish to exercise the right of withdrawal, you must use the form provided within 14 days after the enrollment money is paid.
