Do you dream of sewing your own bunad or festive dress? Here, you will have an entire school year to create a unique garment while learning sewing, design, traditional techniques and quality craftsman
Create your own bunad, festive dress or unique outfit for special occasions—a garment you can wear and enjoy for many years. The course combines traditional craftsmanship with modern design and creativity. No sewing experience is required; teaching is adapted to your level.

What do you get?
Active player and coaching life
Teaching combines gameplay, observation of matches and discussions around tactics, management and development — a combination that makes you holistic in football.
Adabtable training to your level
We adapt schemes in cooperation with the club and circuit, so that you get a solution that fits your aspirations — whether you want to train or lead, and whatever the level.
Career opportunities after the year
After the school year, you'll get certification, practice, and networking that will make you attractive for coaching or managerial careers, or sports studies.
Certified coaching competence
You take, among other things NFF Grassroots Coach/ UEFA C License that gives you the qualification to coach children and adolescents, and lays the foundation for further coaching runs.
Collaboration with top players
The course is carried out in close cooperation with NFF Rogaland, Olympiatoppen SørVest and Sportsklubben Haugar, giving you access to networking and experiences from club and circuit.
Culture and football on tour
In Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires You will know that football is not just a sport, but a lifestyles, and you experience cities with intense passion for the game and the community.
International study trip
The study tour goes to Brazil and Argentina, where you will experience beach soccer on Copacabana, Brazilian soccer culture and Argentine streets full of passion and community.
Leadership training in football
You will be taught NFF Football Manager 1-3 which is about organization, sports management and relationship expertise — essential for those who want to lead a sports club.
Practical coaching insight
Throughout the year, you will gain insight into football's values, club operations and the management of groups and teams — giving you practical insights and applicable knowledge.

At Karmøy Folkehøgskule you get a very special school year where you choose two of our 20 lines — and follows both throughout the year. This gives you over 190 possible line combinations, so you can create a year that suits exactly your interests.
You have approximately 40 line days on every line. The rest of the time is filled with common subjects, electives and theme days that provide variety and community in everyday life.
